Last Sunday the 12th of July , Celtic Captain of the Lisbon Lions / Manager (1978–1983) Billy Mc Neil stopped in for a pint or two on his way to the airport ,
He was telling us that he has always heard about Sharkeys and had to stop by and see the place himself.
He was happy to sign autographs and take photos , and spent a few hours chatting away with everyone

The Winners of the 2006 Sharkeys Open Pool Tournament, were John Joe O Donnell ,Eamon kelly , Pauric Duffy and Oscar Duffy. Runners-up were Dermot Hegerty Tony Mc Gettigan , Conor Elliott and Marty Boyle . 900 euro was raised in Aid of Irish Cancer Society. Many thanks to all who took part.
